๐ฅ2 Player Games
4 gamesThese are games for two people sharing one screen. No lobby, no matchmaking, no account — you hand the phone or the keyboard to the person next to you and take turns.
Both games here are small enough to explain in one sentence and deep enough to keep arguing about. Tic tac toe is solved — two people who know what they are doing will draw every time, and the whole game is in whether either of them builds a fork. Connect four is the same idea with gravity added, which changes everything: you never fully control where your disc lands, and every move you make builds a platform for your opponent.
Each also has a computer opponent if there is nobody to play against. On the hard setting tic tac toe cannot be beaten — the best available result is a draw — and connect four searches four moves ahead.
