Strategy games reward planning several moves ahead and punish taking the obvious move. They are slow on purpose — nothing here is timed, and the board rarely changes between your turn and the next.

The recurring lesson in this category is that being ahead early means almost nothing. In reversi a player holding most of the board at the halfway point is often in the worse position, because every piece they own is one the opponent can flip. Counting the score before the end is the most common way beginners lose.

Play against the computer or pass the device back and forth with another person. Both modes use the same rules, and neither needs an account.
