Never Fall Pinball

Never Fall Pinball starts from an unusual premise: it makes the flippers so large that losing the ball down the drain is nearly impossible. In ordinary pinball that would remove the entire challenge, so this replaces it with a different one. You are collecting stars, and one of them is black. Hit the black star and the run is over immediately. That single substitution flips the game's psychology. Normal pinball is defensive — you are always protecting against the drain. Here you are safe from the drain and the danger is something you might hit on purpose by accident, which makes a fast, loose ball far more frightening than it would normally be.

The ball bounces around the table and your oversized flippers keep it in play. Collect stars to score. Avoid the black star — touching it ends the run, regardless of how well you were doing. Because the ball rarely drains, runs continue until you make that one mistake.

Do not flip reflexively. Every flip adds energy to the ball, and a fast ball is much harder to steer away from the black star than a slow one. Sometimes the correct move is to let the ball roll across a flipper untouched. Learn where the black star sits before you start scoring aggressively — a run ended at two thousand points because you never looked is a wasted run. And when the ball is heading somewhere dangerous, a soft nudge beats a full swing: you want to change its direction, not launch it.
