Summer Rider 3D

Summer Rider 3D is an endless runner that happens to take place on water, on a surfboard or a jet-ski. The genre rules apply unchanged: you move between lanes, you dodge, you collect, and the speed climbs until you cannot keep up. Putting it on waves rather than a road does change one thing meaningfully — the surface moves, so obstacles do not stay at a fixed height relative to you, and a gap you judged at one speed reads differently a few seconds later when everything is faster. That is what stops it from being purely memorised after three runs.

Ride forward automatically and steer left or right to avoid obstacles, jumping where you need to clear something. Collect starfish along the way. The speed increases continuously, so every run ends the same way — you eventually reach a pace where your reaction time is no longer enough. How far you got is the score.

Look further ahead than feels natural. At high speed the obstacle you are reacting to is already too close — the one you should be reading is the next one. Stay in the middle lane when nothing is forcing you elsewhere, because the middle gives you an escape in both directions while an edge lane gives you one. Do not detour for a starfish once the speed is high; the run is worth more than the pickup. And when you die, note where — endless runners have difficulty spikes at specific speed thresholds, and knowing yours tells you when to stop grabbing collectibles.
