About World Conqueror
World Conqueror is a map-and-armies strategy game played in short sessions rather than long campaigns. You command forces across a territory map, and the core decision repeats constantly: attack now with what you have, or wait and build up. Waiting is safer and lets someone else take the ground. Attacking gains territory and leaves whatever you attacked from undefended. There is no third option, which is what keeps a simple game interesting — you are never choosing between good and bad moves, you are choosing which risk to take. Different historical settings change the flavour and the units, but that trade-off is the engine underneath all of them.
How to Play World Conqueror
Take territory by moving your forces from a region you hold into an adjacent one. Strength decides the outcome, so sending too little loses the units for nothing and sending everything leaves the origin open. Captured territory generates more forces over time, so early expansion compounds — but so does overextension, because a long front is a front you cannot defend everywhere.
Controls
Everything is driven by clicking or tapping: select the territory you are attacking from, then the one you are attacking.
Tips and Tricks
Expand along a short front. Taking three territories that leave you with one border to defend beats taking five that leave you with four. Do not attack at parity — if the two sides are close in strength you will win the territory and lose the ability to hold it against the next push. Build up somewhere quiet and strike once with enough to be decisive, rather than trickling forces into a contested region. And watch which of your regions borders the strongest neighbour; that is the one that decides the game, not the one you are currently looking at.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it real-time or turn-based?
It plays in short continuous sessions rather than long formal turns, so tempo matters as much as planning.
What decides a battle?
Relative strength. There is no trick that beats committing more force than the other side.
Do I need to learn unit types?
The historical settings vary the units, but the underlying decision — commit or hold — is the same throughout.
